Part of our mission here at the Boys and Girls Club of Hawaii is to build character and leadership development in our youth. Every quarter, we require our members to participate in a community service project that will teach them to take ownership and pride in their school and in themselves. We hope this will foster a larger awareness of the issues that plague our state and nation, and further encourage them to maintain a healthy and active lifestyle.
For this quarter, one of the initiatives was to do a school and community clean-up, facilitated by our staff member, Julian. Below you will see the flag football team working hard to clean up the grounds. We commend their efforts!
