Enjoying the Outdoors & Taking Care of Our ‘Aina

Thursday, we played partner tag outside and did arts and crafts. It was a great day at the clubhouse!

Friday, was our beach day at Kailua Beach Park. All of the kids sifted through the sand with sifters to find micro-plastics to throw away. Micro-plastics are becoming a big issue with the marine life in Hawaii. The animals will eat the plastics because they think they are food. Our goal was to collect as many pieces of micro-plastic as possible to throw away and clean up our beach!
